Steven does so many cool things on the Lips' albums. He's a real genius when it comes to texture and demo of the gear here.

I love technical players but I love creative forces like Drozd that could lock themselves in a music lab searching for new sounds and textures. He's fantastic!

This dude is why I even play drums and guitar. I met him 3 times. He used to wear the coolest cheapest clothes. Velcro strap walmart shoes. It was punk rock to ME! Probably not for him. I think wayne wore cheap ass shit too. lol. He wore sneakers that look like he grabbed them off of a childs isle in a thrift store. Just see Magnet mag "The Soft Bullet" issue. I met waynes mom and brothers. They treated every one like family! These are great people.

Steven Drozd is so damn creative ... Wayne should thank his lucky stars to have him. In this 7:14 second demo I heard dozens of fantastic song ideas ... Steven Drozd makes the world a better place. PureSalem ....

Awesome idea of asking Steven Drozd to test this pedal.
He's obviously the best candidate.

I have come back to this video over and over again. To see the creative approach of this real-life creative wizard is just really inspiring to my own creative explorations.

Couple things; That Janus pedal is cool as FUCK. It's certainly in the right hands on this demo. I'd love to have one of those, but I can't justify the purchase. But GREAT piece of work. Secondly, our hero Steven, looks pretty rough here. Gauging by the date posted, I think this may have been shot during his relapse. Glad he got thru it okay.

I can see why he is in the biz. Master of his domain. Excellent demo.

I knew one of Stephen’s brothers and their father. They lived a few blocks away from me in Schulenburg TX. Never got a chance to meet Stephen but his brother showed me some of the memorabilia Steven sent them, I got to see the gold record they had from Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and a photo of him with Paul McCartney they had framed. He told me some cool stories about Steven and the band.

Steven went and bought a Supro guitar...just like the one Ronald used to play. Ronald really inspired Steven 🥺

This sounds like a beautiful and useful box - might I suggest a live performance based version with shorter sticks and perhaps a small pad on top of them for using feet / toes?

thank you creator for Steve, and Steve probably thanks you for he is and always will be my favorite musical hero and inspiration. To this day if i need a head start on writing a song i just listen to Fight Test and its a done deal.
