As a DB I was taught this in hs. The thing is you watch the hips to dip for the curls then the eyes for the direction. Most receivers don’t know they give away what they run before they do it. But in madden and most likely anything higher than high school it’s completely different

Pretty sure most people that never played real football but play madden still understands coverages and the concept of man coverage and zone etc. Should of said what you said but also gave a tip on the right adjustments to make at the line of scrimmage during the presnap. Probably the Most important thing while playing defense. For Example- your in cover 1, the play you selected.
Offense comes out in the gun bunch nasty formation. Now you still want to stay in cover one so without an audible to a different defense.
There are many many quick adjustments options to literally stop or slow down any offense scheme. Give the viewer's the tips they need. Like pressing triangle and up on left or right dpad to cover over the top or protecting the flat against curls etc. And if your sure what the play is? You can make the defense aware by guessing pass/run and if you know who is most likely recieving the pass. You can press triangle and select a defender and have that player double team the WR or blitz and or do basically whatever youd like.
I feel like most new players need to learn the presnap quick adjustments on the fly or theyll be toast!! Thanks for the video 💯

That's not always the casedepends on the route of the receiver because if you move the receiver the defender takes over the defensive pattern he's supposed to cover even in man coverage.thats how you can get an open receiver some times I've been knowing this might help some ROOKIE PLAYERS.

I Agree but with cover 1 you can switch and make it look like a run with a TE that runs very route break the outside and it’s a TD. Then you have the bread and butter play. The play action that rotates to the right with a right arm QB and somehow madden makes it to were they can throw on the opposite side of the field with out the QB breaking Accuracy and power throw again this is good advice but in madden every play can be broken down when half the players play with Kansas, jets, bills, bengals, chargers. Any QB that had a deadly arm but that’s just my opinion

This is the most basic principle of football. It’s about dividers. Madden doesn’t play it realistic. Your outside leverage defender should stay low and outside. Here he’s climbing high. Dig or slant is wide open off the break.

Until u get those inside receivers a lead to the outside and those outside receivers lead to the inside pretty simple and it’s in man coverage….toasty all drive😂😂
