QUICK FIX “service required” error (respironics system one ds960 remstar autosv bipap)

I am visually impaired, clumsy and the furtherest thing in the world from a handyman. However, I went to the hardware store and bought a star screwdriver, but forgot the canned air. I got home, followed the instructions and blew on the parts he said, put it back together and it worked like new. I’m so proud of myself, I might just take it apart again just so I can put it back together and feel proud of myself.

Didn't work for me ... at first. I disassembled again, pulled the black tube with the holes out and cleaned the inside with a q-tip. Then I blocked one end with my hand and blew like crazy in the other end. That fixed it! Thank you CPAPmyway ... you saved me having to buy a new machine!

I'm a Respiratory Therapist and decided to fix my friends machine, but nothing worked from the setup menu. I saw this video and it showed the same issues the machine was having. I opened the machine up and did what you stated with an air can and it worked. Thank you for the video!

Can’t thank you enough for this one, this has been happening to my machine for nearly a year, where I’d have to wait up to a dozen times for it to start - and after I blew some air into those holes it now starts instantly!
