What influences my personal style.

Finding your own personal style is not easy. It has to express your values, what you like, how creative or conservative you are, and where you are going in life. Juggling all of these things is not easy. This short video will give you a glimpse into what makes my personal style my own. I hope it will inspire you to better define and find your own.

My personal style is a contradiction. I love looks mixed with boho/natural/edgy. As a school psychologist, I have to interact with kids all day, but also be ready to go to meetings with lawyers/administrators. Makes for some difficult shopping!

Few notes from my personal exp.: bigger girls hardly get an option to wear loose-fitting or oversized clothes. I am glad when there is a pair of pants that I can squeeze in and that does not cut off my blood supply. Bigger clothes you can mostly find with bigger retailers and not smaller, ethical ones, thus the fit can get weird. I especially dislike when there is a collar which must have a different proportion when put on a dress of size, say 16, and size 6. It is hardly ever the case.

It is harder to buy more expensive clothes in a way that if you make a mistake, the investment is painful.

I changed my style when I became mom. my wardrobe had to become more practical, simple to keep, basic of pieces but always stylish. so I did a lot of research. now I'm more "stylish", I have a few very beautiful pieces that interchange with each other, I invest more time in research but less in shopping and more with my baby. oh, and thanks to this I discovered you Daria! you're one of my sources of inspiration, so thanks forever
