Hot glue would melt under high heat temperatures and the whole thing would fall apart. I would suggest sewing it together instead.

Great idea by the time I pay for materials and time invested, id probably be better off getting some from B&H for $9.

Although I will probably make one just for a project to do for a video in future then compare it to the ones I buy

I bought a same size grid from a different brand for my softbox. I've been struggling to find thin, ultra light material to make a rigid frame to tape to the box when I want to use it 😭
