Broadcast Sheet Lighting!!! Sweet! It truly gives the softest wrap-around light in the studio! Thank you for teaching this <3

I've been using tracing paper rolls for a long time. Lately I discovered the soft diffusion of Ikea white shower curtains. For $8 - $14 you get a nice large (71"x71") translucent material. I used Klockaren because it was on sale, but they have a few choices.
Side note: Ikea names its bath items after lakes and bodies of water, bed textiles are plants and flowers, shelves are boys names and you can look up the rest. They all mean something.

JP your videos are done so well and so tasteful!! No dancing around, loud music or other overdone silly crap like certain others on YT I avoid. You are a true professional and don't need gimmicks to get views. Also, Perfect audio as I can understand every word you said even with the room ambience. Don't ever change a thing!!!

Liked, subscribed, and used your paid link to purchase the Datacolor ColorReader EZ. Have a regular job where a softbox is a struggle due to the low ceiling and your tracing paper idea is brilliant. Well done and thank you for your effort!

And using Datacolor device to get the complimenting color swatches, PRICELESS!

I sense love and art for you profession because you easily could have used a green screen with the Mondriaan cubicles projected.
But that never would have given the same result. Great vid👍🏾

I love the checkr card. You might think it's a bit expensive for a card with some color patches on it, but it saves a lot of time in post and I can't imagine any other solution that would be as fast and accurate as this is (or a comparable card from some other manufacturer).

Thanks for this Jay. Just wondering, since your ceiling height is low and it looked fairly white, what if you had just bounced your light off it and skipped the vellum paper?
