All I can remember about that Day it seem like the entire metroplex was at the parade, none of the cameras that day truly captured just how many attended. It was insane. There were so many people there it was kind of scary. Even though the mavericks players were acting cool you could tell they were a little concerned about the sheer masses of people. City of Dallas way under planned the event considering the crowd they got. All that aside it was a fantastic day.

this is sooo awesome. I tip my hat to all the fans out there!! Been to Texas myself some years ago and even then i felt so much admiration and support for Dirk and even a very positive approach to me - as german - from everybody. Dirk is not as flashy and cocky as Labron and not as spectacular as DWade. But you respect his humble, focussed personality. During the long playoff nights - altough some thousand miles away - there was one combined support for Dirk and the Mavs!! Great Job

I am glad they let Bob Ortegel ride in the parade after being let go this season.He has been a part of the Mavs orginization for so many years and that was complete class by the Mavs orginization to let him join in the ride.

I wanted the Heat to win but I have to say congrats to the Mavericks, they earned and deserved it, wanted it more than the Heat did, and seeing Dirk and Kidd get their long over-due rings was very nice to see, LeBron is only 26 so he has time

I don't understand why people hate Cuban. He's probably the only owner that is the #1 fan for their team. He really has a love for the game, sits with fans, and shows passion every game. Sure he might be a outspoken, but he cares for people that work for him, willing to spend his money to get his team better, and as an owner kept fighting. Most owners in the league use their jobs just for business and publicity. MC, love him or hate him, he is one of a kind, a genuine owner.
