I'm a lifelong Heat fan and Dwyane Wade played out of his mind the WHOLE series, he definitely would've won Finals MVP had Miami locked in and won the series to seal the deal instead of poking the bear by mocking Dirk being sick...

BUT Dirk Nowitzki was simply PHENOMENAL this series and this will always be remembered as one of the greatest championship runs EVER beating Brandon Roy's Blazers, Kobe Bryant's Lakers and Kevin Durant's Thunder before ultimately completing the quest of his redemption of the 2006 NBA Finals and bringing Dallas their FIRST championship in franchise history.

Plus it is widely known that Dirk was a beast BUT that 2011 team was GENUINELY something to behold because they were a VERY RIDICULOUS ball club. Dirk, JKidd, Peja, Tyson Chandler, Shawn Marion, Jason Terry, JJ Barea... such an underrated basketball team all around, it was truly a great honor to see them compete and WIN the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Miami had very few legit role players in 2011. People crap on LeBron, but it was very easy to key in on him since there weren’t many shooting threats for LeBron to pass out to.
