The trim feature is not found when searching for trim in Options, and when going directly to Env Preview Features tab. I am using VS22 Community 17.7.0. Is this feature not available in Community?

File compare is cool. But what about text compare? Sometimes, I just want to paste two different pieces of code in the compare windows to see if there are differences.

This update made my project take ages to open. It kept trying to index files upon each opening of the project.
Razor library ViewComponents stopped rendering. I tried cleaning all the bin, obj and .vs files but it still didn't work.
Then there is a .github folder that keeps being generated even after removing it. I don't use github so this folder is just junk in the project root

The rollback is the best feature in this release.
Everything worked again upon rollback to 17.6.
The project is opening and its launching faster than 17.7!
Razor library ViewComponents are working again in 17.6

Will wait for future patches before trying to upgrade again

So far this VS version has been a mess. A product on Mariana's Trench level of quality.

well for everyone vs2022 is certainly not. if you still have the misfortune to work with windows forms, then god help you with this terrible implemented designer.
