Basically if u want a nice aggressive and good handling set up to daily street, get an 18x9.5 +40 off set. It is the most common specs for this platform. As for tires, depends if u want some rim poking out or not. Most common tire set up for 18x9.5 wheels is 255/35/18. Keep in mind different tire brands are wider and shorter in terms of side wall. For ex, Michelin pilot sport 4s will look slimmer than hankook evo 2’s even tho they’re both 35 side wall. 255 is the width, 35 is the side wall and 18 means it’s for an 18 inch wheel. Make sure u change to coilovers if ur gonna run this set up. Or it will rub on the stock strut.

Great that you're explaining this to the masses because so many get it wrong. I see it all the time, they choose a nice looking wheel with the right stud pattern but then the offset is wrong requiring them to run narrower tyres that are stretched and a stupid amount of negative camber. Other than just having to roll the guard lip, that's just silly.

Running flat black TRD rims and, since red doesn't have many accent options, I think they look better than a lot of aftermarket rims.

Hey just to let everyone know, 18x9.5 +35 with 245/35 does rub up front with oem suspension.

If you like a meatier look, 17x9 +35 with 235/40 is a awesome choice from my personal experience

I have a Lancer. I'm from Australia so it's called the VRX (in the US I believe you guys call it the gts). Front wheel drive only. I'm after rpf1's with a functional fitment and some suggestions I get would be to run 18×8/8.5 with a +35/38 offset for a functional fitment. After confirmation or other ideas. The aftermarket car industry isn't huge in Australia, not like in America anyway. Very hard to get decent and decisive information. Hoping to get some more knowledgeable insight.

Question here....
Thinking about doing 17x8 +35 with 225 45 tires. Would there be any issues? I'm on stock suspensions. My street are so huge that I barely make it over the bump with stock height and a lip kit. Would the wheel poke out? Would the wheels stick in? Help?

If you want aggressive without messing up a lease, I was running 17x9.5 +20
Stretched the stock 215 tires over it.
ZERO RUBBING
Dropped on PBM comp coilovers, add camber as needed up front, rear did not require camber adjustment.
super legit setup for street/daily.

What do you recommend? I want some gramlights 57DR but have a leased brz. I was looking around and liked 18x9.5 +22 offset but idk if that’s gonna come with any issues or if It’s even the best combo . Can someone help ?

I hope someone can help!
What is the lowest offset I can run on 17x7 on stock suspension?
I want them to poke but I don't want any rubbing issues.

I accidentally bought a set of 255/45 18 tires for my 18 9.5 35 wheels a few years ago and they rubbed pretty bad on the front but do you think I could run them in the back if I dont lower my brz as much?

I’ve got a Konig Dekagrams 18x9.5 +35 👌🏻. Pokes a little but I do not mind at all. Also make the rears look more flush IMO.

Could I fit staggered tires on squared wheels?
wheels is 18/9.5 front and rear.
Can I fit tires 235/40 front and 265/35 rear?

Quick question would I have to do any extra rear camber to make 17x9 +35 wheels fit with 245/40 tires on my BRZ?

Rocking 18x95 +25 on my frs and I'm wanting to get new wheels. How much of offset can I go from the +25 that I have right now without having to modify the fitment?
