As kak as it sounds, that sounds like motivation to me. His dad knew what his son was capable of and wanted him to see it too. I'm also very bad at talking about my feelings to my son, so much so that my wife sometimes has to tell me to reassure him that he's enough.... My Dad said he doesn’t care if I could play ball, so I should close that dreams, moreover none of his children has ever been to the University so I should be the first person and that after university I can do whatever I want. It's the thing that fathers do to push their child beyond their limits so that they become the best in the world. I don't easily cry but I cried ( a personal reason ) and I told my father that why don't you tell that I'm proud of you son. Then my father told that I want to make you like a rock and I want you to become even better than me. My father said that my grandpa also used to do the same with him. Yes my father loves me but he rarely shows or never shows that to me.

Sorry that’s no good. Plenty of soccer stars have great dads or great memories of their dad like halaand and Ronaldo, many more who don’t quit, resort to alcohol and drugs or partying squandering their talent. Better for a son to reach his true dream, the respect and honor of his father, not the endless void of success without people who you love appreciate your efforts.

It’s not really the story.. His dad didn’t say “no you were not good”, but Henry said that they won 6-0 and he scored all the 6 goals. But all the way home, his dad kept reminding him the big chances he missed and all the mistakes he made
