Chelsea fan here since the days of Gullit and Zola. I've seen some truly special players, but none like Henry. By far the most devastating player ever in the Premier League. He was the one player I never had confidence Chelsea could handle and I must admit, the only player that gave me the feeling of "fear", because he was that good.

He is without a single doubt, indisputably the greatest ever Premier League player. Not just greatest "striker", but greatest player. He scored the kind of goals that made you love football, and he did it time after time again. When I saw the league results and saw Henry's name on the score sheet, I immediately wanted to see the goal, because there was a damn good chance it was a special goal. I also noticed how he's always so unselfish.

His shots have such deceptive velocity on them. The effortless nature in which he shoots disguises how much power his shot actually has. Paired with his first touch and sharp cuts made him an absolute menace on the pitch.

Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favorite living football legends, they are the reason I fell in love with football in the first place, they are part of my childhood... Henry should have won at least one or two ballon d'or in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he was so unique and underrated back then, he was almost unstoppable and genuinely a very good all-rounder authentic player. ☯️✌️

How wonderful to see on these comments from PROPER football fans what they all think of Thierry..but to see him and Dennis week in week out home and a lot of away games too was just magical to say the least....we would go away games and into there pubs and they would chat about Henry and Bergkamp and how much they loved them, man what an amazing buzz it personally gave me...thank you to them all and as i said PROPER FOOTBALL FANS !!
