Science behind it - Sysmain is a service in Windows that pre-loads important files and programs that the system needs time to time into the memory, so the performance should actually be better, especially on hard drive installed systems. But the problem is because it takes time to read the required data from storage drive, after startup, the disk usage will be peaked at 100% all for at least 2-5 mins on hard disk systems. That is why if Sysmain is running, you need to wait for 2-5 mins after startup for things to load and fast up. If Sysmain is disabled, then cache will not be pre-loaded into memory. This means your startup might get fast, but apps will load slow for the first time of the boot session. If you run the same program a second time in the same boot session, it will be faster even though Sysmain was disabled because after loading a program, the cache needed for the program is still stored in memory, but difference is that it is not done automatically on startup.

Sysmain service is to monitor CPU usage so, if you have bad processor then it may improve some speed like 10% fast. But if you've less Ram it will not make any difference.

Don't turn it off, because this is responsible for closing automatic programs in the system which will consume more data after using the system for a longer period,
it will feel faster at bootup, but gradually not.
fact is stop turning off your pc daily, hibernate it. Which will not force your pc to boot so many applications again and again daily.
