Could Movie Superman Defeat Movie Thor? - DCEU vs MCU. By far one of the most discussed VS battles in history is Thor, the Asgardian prince, VS the Man of Steel himself, Superman. Although it's a very complicated topic when the comic book iterations are involved, the movie versions are certainly easier to scale due to there being far less source material to go off of. So, who is stronger, who is faster, and who is the better fighter? I decided to go over feats, scaling, statements, and the like to determine which one of these gods amongsts mortals would come out on top in this legendary bout!

Just because a character "dodges" a photon based projectile doesn't mean they are reacting or moving at the speed of light. For example in the clip he showed of iron man 3, Killian is dodging iron man's blasts because he can see iron man raise his hands and begin to shoot. He just has to be faster than the guy shooting, not faster than the projectile itself

I swear we need a new way to measure speed of characters, cause stating everyone is Flash levels of speed, when they have no attacking feats in those speeds is insane.

Bro.... You shredded feats of thor more than superman... Like a biased fan. For the record thor didn't survive " neutron star" it was the heat only and the neutron star was dying. And wasn't naturally created in the universe. But i wouldn't say it wasn't powerful. It was roughly 1 million °c only. On the contrary superman survived a tactical nuke in his weakened state in BvS. Which was 100 million°c. You can google it. Also I'm happy you admitted that Stormbreaker wasn't as powerful as IG. That blast thanos shot was referred as " random bullshit" in comics. It really didn't show the power of IS. And in "dark world" thor didn't shatter the infinity stone. It was already in vapoured state. So by striking it with lightning he increased the kinetic energy of the particles of the RS and they finally "exploded". But as you saw it they got back together.
Destroying that city was one of the greatest feat of thor I would say. But it was with the help of tony "heating up" the explosive underground motors made hil able to destroy it. And for the statement you gave" he can destroy continents by byfrost " he can channel it only to travel within it and as you saw in infinity war... The bifrost didn't cause any damage as he landed in wakanda.
And as for his speed the things you defined as " things with light speed " actually they were just with speed of rockets tier. For example you said that he reached a new peak and he was showing "FTL" speed. If you did realized... The "beams" the aliens shooting wasn't light speed. And my proof is that when thor came to the battle ground and stood on the rock... Yiu can see that the beams they were firing took 0.8 to 1.2 seconds to travel approx 1.5 km and they were their grand weapons not some low tier weapons on the flying ships... So with the amount of time and distance given above ... The speed of the beams become approx 1 to 1.5km/s and clearly light is 299997 km/s fast. They were just ordinary bullets with long range of shoots.
And once again in the dark world you stated that thor has "light speed " showcasing he pushed out loki out of a black hole. Man i don't know how you thought that through ... But to give you an idea, he came from the side travelling from a place where the black hole had no effect. ( Because if it wasn't he couldn't have gained the momentum to push out loki) . If he wasn't in the effect of the black hole... He didn't outspeed the black hole he just swing by and changed the direction by " momentum" not by "speed". In order to outspeed a black hole you need to be in its gravity field like superman.
And the desttoyer... He wasn't firing a laser it was a fire channeled by his shape of eyes like when thanos absorbed the fire caused by Iron man's explosives by the IG and channeled them directly.



Overall i realized that you didn't go through or do reaserch on superman's feats as thor when you explained aka " showed thors like 9 mins and superman's barely 3 mins ( even with talking about others's feats.) and you just wanted to show that thor was more powerful than superman. BTW if you wanna debate just reply to me. And i highly doubt that you haven't seen this comment.

And the funny thing is that you mentioned that hela threw daggers faster than the speed of bifrost. My only answer for this is "remember the first law of newton".

superman would break thor in 2 before he can blink 🤣. i'm marvel fan but it's the truth. thor is not a god, he's basically an alien. but superman strength and speed is far beyond thor period.

DCEU Superman vs MCU Thor (With Proof):

1: Superman was able to separate the mother boxes using his sheer strength. They form something called The Unity, which turns the planet's population into parademons and the planet itself into a firey hell world. So you could scale this feat to planetary level.

2: It was confirmed by Zack Synder that SteppenWolf fought the original Doomsday and their battle resulted in the destruction of a moon. So SteppenWolf can survive the destruction of a moon but can’t stand up to Superman’s punches.

3: In Zack Synder’s Justice League we learned the Kryptonian metal can with stand its core of being heated up to 3, 500, 000 kelvin. The centre of our sun is 1, 100, 000 kelvin. In Man of Steel Superman used his heat vision to take down a Kryptonian ship. So his heat vision would be 3x times hotter than the sun.

4: Superman has high durability. He took attacks from Faora-Ul, Nam-Ek, General Zod and Doomsday. Superman took a nuclear bomb to the face and it’s believed that he would’ve taken it no problem if he wasn’t still under the effects of kryptonite that Batman used on him.

5: He effortlessly beat the Justice League. Superman was also moving so fast he made them all look like statue’s except for Flash.

6: During his fight with SteppenWolf he just made him look stupid. Superman was moving so fast that SteppenWolf couldn’t even land a single punch on him.

7: During Man of Steel we know that the world engine is a Kryptonian terraforming ship. Just by landing it was able to annihilate mountains. So that means it’s made out of something that can withstand a mountain destroying impact. Not only did Supermam destroy the world engine he did it while WEAKENED and standing under a gravity beam that was single handily destroying the Earth. Superman was in the middle of that beam and he was at ground zero. He was taking all that force as well as all that energy and overpowered it.

8: SteppenWolf’s Electro Axe had absolutely no affect on him whatsoever and his axe is said to be stronger than Wonder Woman’s sword.

9: Superman could easily just statue Thor during the entire fight. He could easily disarm him of Stormbreaker and use his freeze breath to destroy it. Just like he did with the Electro Axe.

10: Thor May have taken the full force of a Neutron Star but he would’ve died from it if Groot didn’t make the handle for Stormbreaker. Thor’s weapons are like 80% of his power. He’s nothing without them.

11: Thor’s Battle IQ is completely useless. I mean look at General Zod. He said to Superman, I was bred to be a warrior trained my ENTIRE LIFE to MASTER MY SENSES. Yet Superman still beat him.

12: Also Thor has absolutely no experience in fighting Kryptonians.

I mean In regards to the experience. I think Superman should be given a little more credit. General Zod has WAY more combat experience and Superman with none was fighting him casually.

Unless Thor aims for the Head. Catching Superman offguard. he doesn’t even stand a chance. He‘s completely outmatched in every way. His best chance is Stormbreaker as kryptonians have a weakness to magic.

Wouldn’t the Russo’s saying fat Thor is stronger than Thor from the end of infinity war just be wrong? Especially since we saw a Thor overpower a Thanos with a complete gauntlet with no issue. Then a fat Thor can’t even give a infinity stone-less Thanos a good fight ON HIS OWN. This is also with the help of Tony and Steve with Steve getting the hammer later and the rest of the heroes and he still couldn’t do squat.

Ok, i was totally buying all of these until you mentioned Cyborg being able to react to Superman's hear vision which travels at light speed, in that same scene, Batman literally reacted to it the same way Cyborg did by blocking it with his gauntlet,

I agree with the result though I disagree with some feats.
1 Him able to throw Zeus' lightning bolt and piercing his chest doesn't make him after or more powerful than him. Remember Zeus here was not serious and pretty ridiculous hence not operating at his peak.
2 Hela wasn't throwing daggers faster than the bifrost. If you're in a plane moving at light speed and you throw a ball, will it be moving faster than the plane?, No. The bifrost acts like a tractor beam in which you can only move at the same speed as its attractive force.
3 Him withstanding a force of a neutron star for 4min, 20 sec is both impressive but also low showing as that same feat nearly killed him if he didn't acquire stormbreaker on time.
4 Zeus was afraid of the Nekron sword which could kill any deity which means we can't scale gorr's strength feats based on the sword. Also Jane foster(thor) faired well against Gorr which make his strength feats not that impressive as he also was fighting on par with Thor most of the movie.
5 Since Stormbreaker isn't a worthy based weapon, there's a possibility that Superman can and will use it against Thor just as Thanos did.
6 MCU characters have speed inconsistencies throughout the films.

Why are you ignoring the facts that Thor can bleed, injured in 5-10 hits from Thanos and tired in fights he can be stabbed, loses his eyeball, while nothing can scratch Superman unless it is kryptonite also Superman’s punches generates shockwaves and electricity can’t conduct through Superman’s body making him resistant to lighting attacks also if hella can break Thors hammer then Superman too, in summary Superman will cut Thors head with his own Stromebraker before Thor even realise also saying they are relative in speed so wrong look at WWs speed she shows more impressive feat of speed than Thor ever has and She got speed blitz by Superman also Steppenwolf can’t even land a blow on superman also when first time Thor destroyed bridge that was active vs second time was inactive that's why it takes times to break it in first place do your research properly

This is to me a great example of how characters are portrayed being at odds with their actual scaling. I have no doubt Superman is narratively meant to be more OP than Thor in their movies but Thor scales higher and would therefore win.
