With palliative care, patients can still receive curative treatments like chemotherapy for breast cancer. Hospice, however, involves a transition where focus shifts solely to comfort and symptom management – with no more curative treatments – based on informed, shared decision-making among patients, families, and healthcare providers 💪🏾.
