Thanks for this, a real ray of sunshine in these troubled times, you've inspired me to get my wellies on and get back to the garden!

Brilliant video; I'll be taking you up on some of those suggestions. It's so nice to know that the veg beds don't need to sit empty through the winter months.

I'm a complete newbie to growing veg and I'm totally inspired by Ben and GrowVeg. This year I've had incredible crops from Tomatoes, chillis, peppers, potatoes, beans and cucumber. Cucumber has stopped now so I'm ready to plant something else. Bring it on!

Hi, Ben! North Florida Fall gardens are the best! I've got seed trays of broccoli, cauliflower, cabbages, rutabagas, collards and lettuces already sown, and today, I started three 162 cell trays of sweet, short-day, onions. In the next few weeks, I'll be direct seeding English peas, beets, and carrots to over-winter. I'm hoping all goes well, like last year.

Of all the crops that I've read can be started in autumn, I'm about to sow at least the one I'll most enjoy—peas, encouraged by the fact that, with little veg experience, I have had good luck with mangetout this summer.

Thank you for your great video. Just plant some winter lettuce, red mizuna, rocket and fast asian greens. I’m thinking about rapini too. Our Canadian zone 5 is always full of surprises.

Already got royal purple bush beans at 15 inches, matador spinach, chives, and mustard greens sprouting....just waiting on my garlic to come in the mail so I can start those. You're so right, we all have another round of crops to tend to until the first frost! Excited!

The last of the strawberry seedlings just went out and they are doing well. They are in the best spots to survive the winter so all we can do now is wait and watch after them. One garden bed left to set up, will decide what goes in it soon, in spring prolly peppers there.

Interesting to hear your comments on Rocket. I sowed it the same time as Lettuce in early June, and I barely got 2 weeks out of the wild rocket, whilst I'm still feasting on the lettuce! And I didn't even pick the rocket as often as I should, owing to newbie confusion (thought it was a weed at one stage). Will try resowing it soon then with garlic. The other day I sowed beetroot for 1st time, hopes it not too late in our temperate climate.

Lettuce, carrots, radishes, onions, snow peas, beans and kale. I'm so excited too. I'm zone 6 so my first frost date is November 1st.
Should be a great fall crop. Thanks for sharing your garden with us.
