the sad thing is the the guy who hit the kid got second place. that kid caused the racer to slow down 1/4 of a second which caused him to loose.

The runner isn’t at fault in the slightest. He couldn’t stop or slow down enough to not hit the kid, and he was running on the track during a race, which is where he is supposed to be. He didn’t need to stop either because he’s currently in a race.

Parents should’ve supervised the kid better. I do feel bad if the kid got hurt, but he put himself in that situation.
