My partner is an optometrist, about half their time is spent dealing with kids who try and fake eye tests to get glasses because they think it's cool/smart.
When they suspect this they put frames in the test glasses (that bit where they say "lense 1 or lense 2") which cancel out so their is no difference between the lenses and normal vision.
