They were able to keep the infant alive. It's just miraculous.

One of the million reasons why the indigenous way of life must be preserved. Incredible survival skills

That 13 year old was so brave, especially taking care of an infant for that long...So happy they were found alive.

Should be a movie on this incredible story of trust, bravery, miracle, leadership, determination and responsibility. Condolences for the loss of their beloved ones😢

I'm so, so happy these kids were found. The fact the eldest was able to navigate and keep the siblings alive in the jungle is beyond amazing.

Wow. It's amazing enough to keep yourself alive in that environment for that long. A child keeping an infant alive, as well as other siblings is beyond incredible. A real life episode of survivor, no camera crew, no one on stand by, no prize money... just you. And they survived. Bittersweet ending having lost the others... but they made it thru that... they can make it thru anything!

It's tragic that the kids lost their mom along with other adults in the crash, but to have survived such ordeal is truly a miracle. I hope these kids will live a long and happy life.

What is equally amazing as those kids surviving is that team of rescuers who actually found them! Salute to all those who were involved!

The eldest child is a hero! She kept her siblings alive. What a miracle that all 4 kids survived this ordeal.

4 kids survived in one of the most dangerous locations on Earth? That's impressive. Most adults wouldn't even survive in the amazon.

Props to those older kids for keeping the baby alive. The baby won't remember but this will be a trauma that the older ones will carry with them. Glad they're alive.

Just looking at the four children's faces, you can tell they are so malnourished. The resilience and courage it took for them to stay together, take care of each other, and survive on their own for 40 days is beyond miracle. The fear they must have had especially at night hearing all the different wild animals, having bugs all over them, it's truly a miracle. They had their mother watching over them.

I have watched stories on, I Shouldn't Be Alive and a few of the stories are about someone who survived being lost for a long time in the Amazon and this was an adult. I am glad the rescue team kept on it and did not give up. Sending much Love, Prayers, and Hugs to the four children, to their family and friends as they now recover and get well from their nightmare ordeal.

This should be made into a movie, it is something the whole world should know of their Bravery and Courage and Survival knowledge. I read somewhere that the 13yr old had some knowledge of the Amazon and survival tips.
💕💕💕💕❤❤❤❤

I'm 70 years old. If I ever get lost in the Amazon, I want that 13 year old with me.
