4 children found alive after 40 days deep in the Amazon Jungle

After a long and intensive search, four siblings were found alive 40 days after a plane crash that left them stranded in the Amazon jungle back in May.

The 13 year old did an amazing job taking care of everyone. Don't think they got much help because the photo showed how protruding their cheeks became. They survived on what the 13 year old could find.

In one of the latest interviews, their father said that the mother stayed alive four days after the crash. She was there with their children and shortly before she passed away, she told them to get out of that place by all means. How much pain these little ones suffered by looking their mother passing away and being alone in the deep jungle is simply unspeakable. Thank God and to his mercy they are back and alive.

How these kids managed to survive 40 days without their mother or the other adults or with them in a jungle filled with jaguars pumas anacondas pit vipers caimans bullet ants wandering spiders and scorpions is beyond me

This is fantastic and sad at the same time. Not only were these kids probably scared out of their minds being in a hostile environment for so long but they had to live through seeing their parents get killed in front of them in the crash and grieving at the same time. Truly very strong family these 4 are and them surviving this long. These kids and rescuers are truly resilient human beings and I hope for nothing but the best for these kids in their time of need and grief.

Kudos to all the heroes in their military and civilian volunteers for keeping up the search. Some other nations may have ended the search within 40 days.
