I absolutely ADORE you and your content! I have to tell you that the respirator you are using is strictly a dust particle respirator. You are subjecting yourself to VOC's when you use that. I am 100% not trying to be snarky or spread "hate". My husband painted vehicles for 30+ years and he now has trouble with breathing issues because of isocyanates. When he started, safety standards were WELL below what they are now. When he saw me with the "pink respirator" he sat me down to let me know that I was not being safe because of the VOC in epoxy. I implore you sweet get a VOC respirator. You are so young and I honestly would hate to see anything happen to you because of your amazing craft! If you can smell alcohol through a is not protecting you!!

Glad to see that your eyes are obviously doing much better. 😀 Were you able to figure out what the problem was? On a side note, please make sure you’re wearing a mask for vapors when using epoxy. 🥰

Hi Courtney, I love your videos, so informative and very well structured. I will be doing tumblers after the first of the year, thanks to you. Love crafting. Also Love your Buckeye shirt. I'm from right outside of Columbus, Ohio, small town Canal Winchester. Have a great Holliday and keep the lessons coming !

I've tried a lot of different epoxies and I am a die-hard customer for Mr. Nola's Glitter Speed Dry Epoxy. I mix it for 2 minutes then "massage" onto the tumbler for 2 minutes. There are ZERO bubbles and I never have to hit the tumbler with heat. It is dry to the touch in 2 hours. You should test it!

I started using Tub o Towels to remove epoxy from my hands, especially when using fast set. I wash my hands after epoxying. My husband got them for me, they remove epoxy, grease and such. You can get the huge container from Northern Tool or a small container from Harbor Freight. It’s just an alternative incase you’re in the middle of epoxying and can’t wash your hands immediately.

Thank you Courtney for all the knowledge you share and amazing work you do. I use the same mask and I am a newbie (I read a lot on that mask and because it has those filters it does help with any/all the chemicals etc. associated with epoxy (besides KSResin has no VOC) sooo no need to add any disclaimers and I too LOVE the KSresin (both forms too).

Courtney,
Thanks you so much for your awesome videos! Just started using epoxy, ks resin! I’m kind of a newby! Troubleshooting an issue with a tumbler! Around the bottom rim is thicker than the rest of the tumbler! Any idea how to prevent this going forward? Thanks for any help you can give! I think I have watched every video you have put out! :)

I love that you use a popsicle stick. I use that as well and NEVER have trouble but I see so many people online being so mean to people about using them and saying they make more bubbles.

Ooo thank you for your knowledge!

I have a question, what’s the difference in using Fast Set Epoxy than using regular ( not just the name 😂) but like can you use it without using the part A and Part B mixture?

I hope this make sense 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Hi Courtney - love you, your channel, and your accent. You held up a tumbler that had epoxy on it and you said it had to be sanded. Why is that? Do you have to sand between all coats of epoxy?

Hi! I love your videos! Thank you so much for sharing…. Question- if you sublimate on a tumbler, do you still epoxy it?

I just got in some of the Liquidity Split epoxy and I'm struggling with bubbles. Does a torch work better than a heat gun? My heat gun doesn't seem to be doing anything to these bubbles.

Those filters you showed are for particulate matter (dust) only - NOT for volatile organic compounds (VOC). They'll prevent you from inhaling glitter, but that's about it. You should probably include a note about that, if you're trying to teach newbies.

I’ve found that if I spritz a little alcohol where I got epoxy on myself then immediately wash with dish soap it comes right off. Just another option.
