Adam Sandler's Farley tribute song was an incredible moment for SNL, it brought things full circle. If he had survived, Farley would still be a huge presence in all of Sandler's movies.

An old buddy of mine was roommates in rehab with Chris Farley at Hazelden and he said he pissed his pants laughing like double digits amount of times, I would probably have as well. Imagine being so close quarters during such a time of vulnerability when all that remains is that persons essences as they seek recovery. Was so heartbreaking when he passed.

I was crushed when I heard he'd died. I was fourteen and still find it hard to believe he only was the star of four films aside from small roles in a few films. He felt like such a big part of my childhood.

Ill never understand why people didn’t think Chris Farley, Adam Sandler and Phil Hartman were funny enough. I pissed my pants with laughter watching them. Especially Chris. Poor Chris. Such a good gentle soul

As a teenager, I was fortunate enough to see all his sketches every Saturday night watching SNL. My kids love his sketches and know the line "you'll be living in a van down by the river!". Even still Chris is making us laugh. He was one of the funniest SNL cast members.

He seemed like such a genuinely sweet person who just wanted to be loved for making other's happy ❤️. Rest in power Chris. Great content as always Looper ☺️!

His "return episode" was horrendous. Not from Chris, but Lorne Michaels. The opening and subsequent skits put floodlights on Chris' issues. One of the worst things they could have done. They did not celebrate his return; they put all his issues out for millions to comment on in newspapers and websites the next day. What he needed was good friends to listen and assist where possible. Do no harm.

Heartbreaking. 90s SNL was everything. I was raised by a single dad, broke using antenna tv. SNL brought so much laughter to our little home.

The one Farley skit I absolutely cannot get through without crying my eyes out is the Paul McCartney interview. It’s so real it just takes you to another level! Thanks Chris—you gave us a lot of love and happiness! RIP!

SNL firing one of the funniest comedians in the World was the end of SNL for me. RIP to both.

I wasn’t surprised to hear he passed that day, but no less devastated by the news either. A truly funny and talented comedian and, by all accounts, a genuinely sweet and kind human being. He was a big loss. RIP

I used to watch Adam Sandler and Chris Farley on stage, and you could just tell that it was 2 close friends doing what they loved and having a great time doing it.

I worked in Beverly Hills as a young person, one lady was a Hollywood agent and shed tell me stories, one was how she had a client who had to sign 3 million in taxes his first really successful year. And when he did it "his hand was shaking when signing the check" and he "was dead three weeks later" she told me it was Chris Farley after

That was the best era of SNL. Such a good cast. Hilarious sketches and great hosts like Emilio Estevez and John Goodman. Amazing I tell you. Man it went down hill after that.

Chris Rock was actually only there to fill in in case Chris couldn't perform as scheduled.

And Chris almost actually had a heart attack during the Matt Foley sketch after drinking the coffee.

Even though it was a critical and commercial flop, I think the movie "Bevelry Hills Ninja" is freaking hilarious. A guilty pleasure. No one could do physical comedy like Farley. RIP, big guy.

That is so sad…another example where fame and success doesn’t always lead to happiness. I hope he is at peace now 😢

Mom was diagnosed with lupus in the early 90's and remember her loving Farley and how hard she would laugh at anything he did. He was a big part of my childhood. RIP good sir.
