He was definitely struggling at this time in life but glad he was able to host SNL. He was a legend in his own time and his movies always made me laugh and still do to this day. The sky was the limit for him and unfortunately the only thing that stopped him was himself... R.I.P Chris you truly were one of a kind.

although this is hilarious, it does shed a lot of light on what was happening with Chris in the last months of his life and how people saw a problem but had no solution. he was a natural talent with so much ahead of him. R.I.P. Chris.

There are so many Chris Farley stories that really get to me but a couple that stand out are when Chris and Al Franken visited sick kids at a hospital and Chris hugging Tim near the elevators during their first season because they both couldn’t believe how far they had come since performing together at second city in Chicago. Tim and Chris were extremely close and started out together

4:10-4:20, that scene right there can tear at someone who has watched a family member kill themselves from drugs. You can clearly see Chris Rock and even Tim concerned when Farley stumbles his lines about responsibility by slurring responsibility and people together. It’s sad honestly, I didn’t realize how bad his drug problems were until I looked into his later career.

Chris Farley had recorded dialogue for Shrek (for he was to play the green ogre and not Mike Myers originally) but when he died after this episode aired, the producers turned to Mike and he did it for Chris because Chris could have been a great Shrek but Mike Myer's voice is iconic.

4:25-4:33 hits rough knowing now that this man sought help for his problems 17 times and the he really did try to stop. It is heartbreaking to know that the help he sought ended up not working. RIP Chris.

I remember the news about Chris, a coworker told me at work, I was like 'no way'. I still think that today in 2021. Very funny and loveable, I miss him dearly.

Look at Chris rock face when Farley said it's time to stop goofing around. Seems like it's the first time rock heard Farley say that. Little by little Farley was coming out, showing that he was getting tired of being labelled like he was. Sadly the addiction already beat him. Rest well big guy
