this comic aligns with my idea and view of smc so well. while the entire fandom ships them, wants redemption arc, or makes pv his friend, i imagine smc to feel hurt and betrayed by pv. to have tricked and lied to him as truthless recluse (i know its for the good reasons, but smc doesnt), and asking to be his friend. when smc angrily refused the offer, it felt so similar to an experience of mine. i just related to that frustration, knowing someone had good intentions, but i just can't really forgive them for betraying my trust. it felt somewhat hypocritical, for pv to ask for friendship, right after making smc experience defeat
