In this video, I unbox a brand new Onewheel Pint, learn to ride it, and give my review after owning it for 2 months. I also breakdown all my Onewheel related expenses. It's more expensive than you think. I ended up wanting a bunch of accessories and safety gear.

Can't believe a brand new youtube channel has this much effort put into its first-ever video. If this keeps up, there's no telling how large it'll grow. See you to the moon.

The most accurate part of this video is how he ends up buying SO MANY ACCESSORIES after riding for a little bit lmao

I had my OneWheel XR for about four hours before it threw me to the ground so hard that I fractured my wrist in two places. Ive been in a cast for about a month now and I might need surgery. The doctor advised me to sell it, but I cant wait to get back on!!! Lesson learned, I bought a set of wrist guards

This is by far the best review I have seen. I've owned a pint for about a month and this is effectively all the research and honest reviews I found complied into one amazing video. Thank you so much for the great video.

I just wanted to say thanks so much for this video! As someone who has never experienced ANY board sport and an amateur rollerblader I was nervous ordering and learning a Onewheel. Because of your funny, safe, and realistic approach I was able to get up and ride in about 15 minutes with only one true minor fall. Appreciate you taking one for the team and sharing your learnings so I didn't have to. So glad I ordered one. Only on day 2, and we already have 12 miles on the board. It's a total blast, and already made a new friend/riding partner out of a complete stranger who just saw me riding. P.S. you're right about the stupid plug....lost it on my first day, got replacements at the store that don't fit, and have decided to just replace packing tape between charges.

Great vid. There are tons of vids of people shredding these suckers. I really appreciate Richard's candor and humility allowing us to go along on his learning journey - even when it wasn't pretty.

Having considered buying a OneWheel I really enjoyed this video and the behind-the-scenes look of learning to ride one. However, since I'm over 70 I'm now thinking an electric wheelchair, clip the speed restrictions and turn it into a mall rocket with flame decals. Maybe even see if it can be made street legal with additional mods. Thanks for this introduction to what looks like a fun way to get around.

What a brilliant review! I'm 70yrs old and in the process of advertising my bike for sale; I don't want my last ride to be a wreck. Guess I'm not seriously considering a one wheel, but if I were younger I think it would be right up my alley cause it's the closest thing to effortless motion available, that doesn't require a license, etc.kind of like flying on the ground. If you're pretty sure your bod can stand a moderate smackdown I'd go for it

That's how you start a channel. Quality from the get go.

Just found your channel. 👍 Congrats on the Pint, Onewheels are great fun.
I've got over 7000 miles on my XRs and the thing I wish someone had told me at the start would be to practice jumping off with both feet. Forget heel lift dismount and simple stop, just practice over and over slowing right down and jump off with both feet. Do it so many times that you can do it nice and neat and your Pint just plops down gracefully... jumping off heelside is best, so your Pint is in front of you.
It sounds like a dumb thing to practice, but you program your brain/reflexes for both feet to instantly leave the board at the same time, and be able to do it effortlessly. Then later, when you are in a bail out situation (will happen a lot) you can just get both feet instantly off the board and get them on the ground in a safe footing, trust me, this will save your bacon... 😎

My One Wheel just shipped a few days ago. I'm 38 years young and I've never even rode a skateboard so I'm excited and nervous. Of course my friends think I'm crazy and they're all waiting for videos of my spills...lol

It was awesome to see someone ride that didn't appear to be a born professional! Pretty excited to get started. Thanks for the video.

Don't worry man. The "squirrely" feeling will turn into "wow i can turn on a dime" in just a few weeks. I did the same thing. You'll get it. Don't give up.

Wow it’s so good to see a “learning ____” video made by someone who knows how to film!!
Normally the person not only doesn’t know how to film well, but also is trying to do it while learning the thing, resulting in a video that looks like a mobile phone went into a tornado.
So full credit for that! Great shots, very informative, and actually gave me some confidence that I might be able to do it haha. Thanks again 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Great video. I tried a friends pint for like 10 mins and it was terrifying. Same reactions, thought it would be easier. Had some time to think about it and decided to get one despite my initial experience. Thanks for showing what you went through. It’s reassuring to see how much better you became. Good luck!

The process of learning to ride a OneWheel is not at all easy like Future Motion dictates, I had a VERY hard time on it my first week of ownership. This was a great video to watch, seeing your learning process was super on point. But, once I figured out riding stance and letting the OneWheel control itself and read my body movements, I started really enjoying the riding experience. Everyone learns differently, and once you get the hang of it, the OneWheel is an absolutely awesome toy, I love my pint!

I’ve been debating on buying a Onewheel pint for a bit now and your review pushed me over the edge to purchase one. Great job documenting the mindset of becoming familiar with the board and what to expect when learning to ride. Excellent video!

Drill a small hole into the port protector and into the board to securely tie a string between the protector and the board, so it won’t ever get lost.
