Have owned and ridden a Onewheel+ for almost 3 years now. LOVE IT! Film on it all the time. My tips are this. Having a wheel cover is so helpful. I learned how to ride and center my weight best when I could bring my front foot (or the foot on the activation pad) super close, pretty much snugged up against the wheel guard. That helped so much when riding in the beginning. I've also learned over time, that while you may feel like your putting pressure on your front or back foot to both accelerate and slow down, you're hips or body may tend to shift to the extent that you are no longer "weight centered" on the board. This will cause the phenomena where your trying to brake but the board is still picking up speed. Training your body to stay completely centered on the board was critical and for me to feel confident riding hard on challenging terrain. that all happens with shifting my hips....not bending my knees or applying pressure to one foot or the other. As you find your center, you can get much more liberal with actual foot pressure to carve, jump etc. Lastly, ease super slow up hill in the beginning. You'll catch your front edge and nose dive every time if you're trying to accelerate too fast uphill. And start slow across the board. Spend the first month just getting acclimated, riding every day until the battery runs out before you start bombing bike trails and hard core off road stuff. There are new muscles in your feet, calves and legs that have to get used to this board. The first week you'll feel like it's easy and then all of a sudden you'll be riding and realize that you have no idea how the board actually works. Anyone waiting for the Pint, it will be well worth the wait when you're still riding the same board 3-5 years from now, except in reality, you'll most likely upgrade to the XR before then for a longer ride which I'm on schedule to do this year. Worth every penny. LOVE LOVE LOVE OW!

Blessings Onewheel!!! I hope this is a sneak peek for what's to come! I know you all are working very hard on getting pint to your happy customers! All in all this technology is amazing and a overall blessing to be able to experience this level of technology during my lifetime! Speaking from a long time skateboarder. I look forward to riding the pint and I'm sure that you all are doing your best. Technology and perfection takes time. Especially on a dangerous high tech device such as this.

Thanks again!!! And blessings for this amazing invention! God bless to everyone over at Onewheel. 🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯😎

Thank you so much. I watched some other tutorials on how to ride this thing and they made it sound so scary and overly complicated and they 5 minutes. This was under 2 and easy. KISS, keep it simple stupid

So I suck but am determined to not give up. The biggest recommendation in addition to these instructions is to use this outside in a non-busy area. This way you can fall and tumble and practice over and over again. I have yet to get my body balanced or ride it smoothly.

It's funny how I'm constantly looking for pint videos to fill the void of not having received mine yet. Guess I'll just practice these tips with my balance board for the foreseeable future.

1. Helmet good, wrist guards too even better.
2. More Emphasis on keeping weight over the wheel. Glad to see the word "lean" left out. Increased center of gravity over the front = increased nose-dive risk.
3. Simple stop should be used for learning only. Having the ability to reverse is important and more fun
4. Ya, maybe this video has a "sting" to it (because of delays as said) ... But honestly, I'd rather know that *new* riders are getting educated B4 they open their onewheels. The excitement is all to real and only burns brighter. It can distract you from remembering to respect the ride and your surroundings.
Long live the Float Life.
