I'm not living on my own yet but if possible I kind of wanted to get my family to have less waste than we do now

This is a very important video. You are recognizing that not everyone lives in an area with upscale health food stores, or can afford it. Your video is a terrific guide, and is HUGE. It helps that target is also accepts plastic bag and plastic film recycling. I worry that I am "wish cycling" some plastic packaging I bundle in though. Thank you for your super content:)

Your content is just so soothing. I have 2 adults, a 7 year old and a 1 year old in my house and we all eat so different. I wish it was this easy. Much appreciation to your content 💙

I'm so happy that when I put away my grocery shopping now i barely have plastic and other non recyclable thats needs throwing away. I remember when a few years ago, after grocery shopping at the usual supermarket, we would be overwhelmed at how much waste we had just unpacking our shopping, and we hadn't even consumed anything yet! we've never regretted switching to a local organic grocery store where we can buy fresh produce and things in bulk (yes even organic rice! :) ) .I still go to the regular supermarket for some stuff and I've noticed that they have implemented less plastic packaging and i think that's also because more people are more aware of waste nowadays. Thanks for another sweet video ♥

Loved that chocolate bar! What I have noticed that the more I get into the habit of zero waste the more I am keen on doing things right. It's like when you differentiate rubbish, first you start with paper, then you say ok let me put the bottles aside as well, then the plastic and so on until everything goes in the right place. You start understanding that you are actually making a difference for this planet!

Have just found your channel and watched several videos and I enjoyed all the information. The loud music was distracting though. I've been on my minimalist Journey for several years since I retired. It's been a great and rewarding journey.

Could you please post some bulk recipes that are healthy? Or like a grocery list and the recipes? Loving your channel:)

Super cool! since there are a lot of Asian supermarkets in the Bay, it would be cool to see a low waste haul from there too since lots of stuff is in plastic. I imagine the produce would be much easier to find though :)

This was such a great video and so thoughtful! I always agonize in their produce aisle & try to just buy what's not in the plastic packaging. Just shopping for as much food as I can get that's in less wasteful packaging at Target (Hello: $0.69 cent avocados!) makes up for the extra cost of going to a regular market or the farmers market where I can pick out my produce & put it in a reusable bag. The Ghiradellli chocolate is also packaged in paper with a foil lining ;). Another great thing about Target: I just moved to an area where, unless you own a home, recycling and composting are not yet an option. Target has big recycling bins (for plastic bags, other plastics, cans, bottles, glass, batteries, etc) in all their stores plus a compost bin in the in-store Starbucks, so I just bring it there a few times a week.

Your channel inspires me to take a more sustainable way of living, thanks! :) (I'm still beginning, but I already achieved some new and good habits.)

I have made chocolate bark for holiday gifts, by merely melting chocolate discs from the bulk section. Covid has led to plastic bagging, but hoping to get back to using/reusing my own bags from home. I’m sure bulk barn carries them.

It was actually so interesting to see the prices of food 😮 I am myself from Europe (Eastern side, Lithuania to be exact) and our fruits and veggies are much cheaper, though some things like pasta and canned good are similarly priced. Some differences are that some items like canned tomatoes or sauces we do not have an organic option for which is why they end up being cheaper, but I do hope more organic things pop up in our stores.
As well I am very happy that in my country (and in ones around mine) almost all the veggies and fruits are not wrapped in plastic, only very loose items like kale or other hearby leefy things are packaged.
