Hi, thanks for sharing the valuable tips. Just a quick question, is there a way to create a file each time there is a new item created in the list and the file is per item, not a summary of all items? So a single file for an item. In example, a new employee record is added and I want to get this documented as employee dedicated file. Cheers

Question: Can you combine mulitple folders into 1 excel file? In your example, you only exported 1 folder, can I do the same for 10 folders and keep it synced all on the same sheet?

Hi, I followed your video, and all works as it should apart from when I added a column at the end of the linked table and entered 'some data' (like you did in the video) then every time I sort the table and then refresh the data in my additional columns is randomly distributed each time press refresh. I tried a new connection few times thinking I done something wrong - the result is always the same.
I have a sherepoint list which I would like to sort by additional criteria added afterwards in Excel and this is preventing me from doing so. Any ideas why is this happening please? Great content BTW - thank you for all help!

Is there a way to show empty folders? And is there a way to use colors to show how deep we are in a path?

Hello. Is it also possible to perform an export of a list to excel, but in a way that excel automatically updates without having to press the refresh button?

Congratulations for the video, I need a similar solution but I need to get all the properties of each version of a item . Have you seen any solution that dealt with this?

IS THERE ANY OPTION MAKE CHANGE IN EXCEL, AND THAT WILL REFLECT IN SHAREPOINT. THAT WILL BE VERY HELPFUL IF WE NEED TO ADD A LOT OF CHANGES LIKE ADDING A TAG TO AL THE ITEMS

I've exported the .iqy and have pulled data into excel successfully, however not all of my columns made it across to excel.
The majority of the columns are simply text columns like the ones that made it across successfully.

I've checked the view and added the desired columns, saved and re-exported, however the exact same columns are missing from the excel sheet even if recreated from scratch.

Would you happen to know why that might be or where to look? For context I'm working with a sharepoint list originally made by someone else.

Hi, I want to export a SharePoint List that contains a column called Photo which format is "Image".

When I used the button Export the file query.iqy is generated. In my column Photo I have a text like :

{"type":"thumbnail", "fileName":"a305c58c-8622-4f10-91d9-70d7ba943745.png", "fieldName":"photo", "serverUrl":"https: "SharePoint site name"

Can you advise me how to show the photo instead of the Photo path URL in Excel?

Hi, thanks for your effort. I have a scenario here. Need your assistance.

I need to query a SharePoint online list using Power Query and the list contains a field that is configured for "Multiple Lines of Text". The result in excel that looks like this:
<div is a multi.</p><p>Line response.</p><p>In <span

Any way to get plain text from SharePoint to excel which is a multiline text in SharePoint through power query
