I do my own oil changes. I did have a small leak once. I didn't change the crush washers. Went in and did it again and added new crush washers. No leaks after that. Since then I have done 2 additional oil changes and again used new crush washers each time. No leaks. Hope this helps. just thought of something. The o-ring that Honda recommends to go with the DCT filter is actually too big. That might be where you are getting your leak. Fred Harmon recommends going with a different O-Ring. The part number for the O-ring he recommends is 91356-MWO-003. It is a Honda part. It just more snug than the OEM ring. Hope that helps

Only thing that comes to mind is the o-ring on the transmission filter cover. The one that Honda calls for is a bit oversized, it can get pinched. This would be near the rear of the engine casing on the left side. Other than that, it depends in what area it is leaking. they didn't over tighten any of the drain plugs did they? It could strip the aluminum pan and cause a leak, I would assume they would have caught this while doing so many oil changes on the bike. Other option is a double sealed oil filter, but that should case the oil to flood out of an engine, not drip slowly. Also, check the engine case and see if it is just left over oil residue from doing the oil change, could be dripping out of where the wind blew the oil and there is no leak. I would clean the area and see if it still has an issue.

You have your cardboard to leave a trail exactly above it where the leak is coming from. Don’t move the cardboard at all when you you see a spot and trace it directly above it from that spot. You should be able to feel for the oil on the machine where it’s leaking from. “Follow the oil” back up if possible, good luck.

See if you can't look and find out where the leak is coming from. I hope the dealer didn't strip the threads to your drain plug?

It’s the o ring in the transmission filter.

And please pull the caps on the oil drains there's one for the air filter box and there's one for the crankcase breather !!!

It’s the o ring in the transmission filter. It’s getting pinched when they put new one in.

Took the bike back in today 27 April 2022, and they immediately put it on the lift. Changed everything out, oil, filter, screws, O-Rings etc. It's home now and I'll follow up in the morning to see if it's leaking again.

Love the drip catcher aka "Harley Tampon" 😂😂😂😂 All joking aside that must be frustrating hope you get it sorted. Guess i'm fortunate as I have not experienced any leakage of any kind. Maybe the 21 is getting jealous of sharing garage space with the Big Ole Girl. Let's remember these motorcycles are machines and sometime these machines need looking after, some clearly more than others. In short i hope you didn't get a Friday afternoon build, probably not simply and i'll fitting washer supplied after a fluid change..

I was thinking why not leave it at the dealership for a day or so. That way they can see the leak. Hopefully it is not a major issue.

Had simmilar issu on mine 21 model, there is a seal/o-ring in the starter/alternator drive from the motor that might be the reason for you leak.

I wonder if the shop is placing/positioning the DCT oil filter upside down? I believe the rubber side should be on the up side...I hope it gets sorted out...let us know

I wouldn’t be too alarmed. It’s probably an oversight by dealership. Someone is missing a step

They don't treat your bike like you would. It's just about the 💰 for the dealerships.
