I love my 22. I had a guy on a Harley roll up beside me at a stoplight and as per usual I smiled and waved hello. He gave me a nasty look and just started revving his noise machine. “Okay” I said we’ll just click this over into Sport mode. Light turned green and my front tire came off the ground, his bike was making a ton of noise but barely moving and about 3 seconds later he was already at least 20 car lengths behind me and another 3 seconds and he was just an ugly dot in my rear view mirror. I wave to ALL riders, not all Harley riders snub me but it is ONLY Harley riders that won’t wave back. Every other type always waves back.

The 2018+ GW is factory limited to 112mph. It will do 112 going up a really steep hill no problem but not one mile faster and that's like half throttle. Supposedly someone came up with a crack for the ECU that got rid of the limiter but they only sell to racers. Like some folks have noted here, better make sure your tires are in good shape before you do any land speed records on one of these cows. I saw a rear tire at the shop last week that detonated at speed. Dude was lucky to walk away with his life. Tire's aren't cheap but they are a great deal compared to a funeral.

I have ridden my 2013 BMW K1600 at an indicated speed between 140-145 and not a full throttle. It has a 6 speed manual transmission and 160 hp. I am 68 years and have been riding motorcycles for 44 years.

I do 90 at times on a DCT and I forget I am on 2 wheels. I have to remind myself to slow down on a clear open HWYS. MAGICAL MACHINE

I could care less how fast it goes. Fast enough is ok for me. I like the gear ratios - cruising at 75-80 with the rpms somewhere around 2500 in 7th gear. New tech, new innovation, new styling, ya I want one yesterday !

On my 22 wing dct tour, i was able to get it to 120. It didn’t even feel like I was moving that fast, smooth, and just power. Only thing, it was still responsive in the turns but you needed room.

This bike has freight train torque. It gets there quickly at a low 2500 RPM. Then smoothly and quietly cruise missiles from there. Stealth.

BT-Moto ECU re-flash for 2018+ Gold Wings removes the speed limiter and smooths throttle response in Sport Mode. Top speed goes to something in the 123/124 range with no other modifications. And, you can return to the stock tune anytime.

Oh, wow, yeah, my 2018 manual 6-speed tops out at 112...it sure gets there in a hurry! Nice job!

My 99 valkyrie will.do 140+. Dissapointing seeing a limiter on the bike

it's big(compare to other bikes), it's fast, it's stable, it's fancy, it's expensive: it's a 2 wheels convertible car per se.

Just after I got my 2012 Goldwing I went for a ride with my youngest brother who was riding a Harley. On our way back home we encountered a lot of merging traffic. I'm not one to contend for my position with automobiles so I just backed off a little. After the traffic had settled down, I rolled on some throttle to catch up with my brother. As I slowed down to match his speed I glanced down at the speedometer and noticed the needle dropping through 100. Very impressive power and speed, and that's a 2012 bike. I'm sure the newer ones are just as impressive.

Thanks for revving up the Gold Wing. I didn’t buy my 2021 Gold Wing Tour DCT to do the quarter mile with. That’s what my Gen 2 Yamaha VMAX is for. The Wing by far is the best riding touring bike with all it’s comfort extras. Now, with that said, it is disappointing it has a limiter at that speed for when we get the itch to blow out the carbon.

I bought my 2021 Goldwing last August 21' and out of 30+ bikes I have owned this is by far the most comfortable bike. My Indian's, Harley's and Ducati's all fun, but you can't beat Honda's drivetrain and comfort. And water cooled is so much better on the 90° days.

I wouldn't buy one until I have a way to bypass that. (Not gonna have a HD outrun me due to a speed limiter)

I had a 1976 Kawasaki 125 2-stroke enduro that I remember being limited at 75MPH. Unless the wind was behind you, and you were going downhill. Then 80MPH.

I have a 2004 honda valkyrie rune with a goldwing engine.
130+ on an 850lb bike. So the 22 goldwings are capable if you take the limiter off. But 110 is plenty though, specially for 2 up
