The ferals and strays around here have so much scary, dangerous stuff and cruelty to face. Except for a couple of friendly strays who clearly used to have homes, the ferals I've been feeding for ever a year now can just barely tolerate my hand or myself within a few feet of them, or a few inches, and near their food is a great worthy of a hiss or a swat from their paw. They regulars know they can meow to greet me and ask for food. They see the friendly ones greet me, meow, get petting but the ferals are just too wary. -- The rescues before have been OK after. while, and were kittens when rescued, so it was less of a thing. -- It must be like this strange, scary, giant creature suddenly brushes up to them and yikes, scary. that trust and wanting the friends touch is a big deal for them.

So true 😢 my husband rescued 2 little baby kittens, they were about 4 to 6 weeks old and were absolutely Terrified by us. We took it slow, gentle and now they Love to be brushed, played with. It just takes time. They are so precious.

Bro i tried to call a feral cat near me and it came to me and came home with me. (I've got a question, the cat has pooped 2 times on the bed, what do i do to prevent that. I want to keep the cat in my room but my mother won't allow it due to the pooping and it has tp stay on the roof outside my room) its my first day with it
