OMG we are in RUSSIA! Country #62. We went to the Izmailovsky Market (Izmalovskiy rynok) in Moscow. There's tons of Soviet antiques along with atrisan Russian goodies! For dinner we had our first Russian food which was what Nate referred to as "Russian Empanadas." A local recommended them to us and they were delicious! They weren't easy to order, but totally worth the effort!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

We’ve pulled inspiration from several of our favorite travel vloggers on YouTube, such as: +CaseyNeistat +FunForLouis +Jon Olsson +Mr Ben Brown, and any other talented travel vloggers that YouTube’s algorithm will hopefully connect us with ;)

About the dog statue - you rub it's nose for luck, especially if you are a student. I studied in the Technical University which is nearby and we always, always rubbed the dog's nose before exams. It's a tradition

You were right to eat it with hands. Using a fork and a knife on a cheburek is like eating pizza with a fork and a knife.

Thank you for always trying to find non-tourist places and trying to assimilate into the culture.

I'm very glad that you guys like Russia, because all those bad talks in US media about this Country is making a totally wrong picture.
Russia is like any other Country have a good people, and unfortunately few bad guys.
Most people are friendly, and don't want have any trouble with any body else.
People don't be afraid off Russia, let us be your friends....

We went to Russia this year and Moscow and St. Petersburg was simply stunning. There were lots of signs in English thanks to the FIFA World cup. The experience was truly memorable. And of course the metro stations! Each one was as beautiful as can be.

I love watching your travel days. Your approach to travel is so low stress. My husband was a marvelous traveler. He never got upset he just “worked the problem” out. You two do that. Impressive.

You can eat the cheburek with your hands! people usually eat it with a fork if its too hot or if they don't want their hands to get greasy!

Glad you enjoyed the market! I stayed at a hotel right next to those markets a couple of years ago and they were so awesome! All the Disney-like castles are pretty crazy too!

The most difficult part of traveling in Russia is the language. There are not so many places translated in English. And my advice for travelers: If u cant get something just try to ask young Russian people in English. There are a lot of young people can speak English in Moscow.
