my first roommate in college use to fart a LOT (although I never really smelled them) and she would just openly announce or warn the room when she was going to. it didn't make me dislike her though, in fact I think it's great when people embrace normal bodily habits or talk about them openly.
Whenever my boyfriend accidentally farts near me and tries not to mention it I just say out loud to him "you farted" to let him know I don't care so he can stop acting like it's the grossest, worst thing he can do around me.
