Don't forget to give me your suggestion for another song for a reaction and analysis video. Thanks for watching!

I am definitely looking forward to your reaction to some of their original German compositions. Barfuß am Klavier or Pocahontas are probably their most popular early songs, but I would highly recommend Du Bist Anders (either in Standard German or their local Kölsch dialect) or Henning May's personal version of Ozean, where it is just him on guitar singing in an apartment.

I don’t think I’ve seen musicians that enjoy what they do quite the way these boys do! Their enthusiasm is contagious!

The guy playing the trumpet/horn is Ferdinand Schwarz. Like the guys from AnnenMayKantereit he is a musician from Cologne, Germany.

I loved how generous and supportive Henning May was at the beginning!

Hard song to cover. They did it beautifully! I just love his voice.

what i also like is at around 8:30 how henning starts to join in, but quickly lets off probably because he notices what natalie is building up to in the "why don't you come on over" part

I love Amy Winehouse and when someone can give her music proper justice i love it! This is one of the best covers of Valerie I've heard. Love the meshing of Natalie & Henning - their voices wirk so well. Amy would have loved it! ❤

Wish you would react to "Barfuß am Klavier" and "Pocahontas"
I Love their Style. Nowerdays their music ist more "cleaned", in the beginning they only recorded by them self often out on streets. It is what I call "real" music.

Thank you so much for introducing me to such an incredible band, Bob! This is easily the 4th or 5th AnennMayKantereit collab and cover I have watched you react to today. Very much obsessed with his voice as well and I've loved all these covers and the chemistry between him and the other singers (especially in Tom's Diner -- also that trumpet in Tom's Diner felt so fleeting, such a great part in the beginning!). In this one, I feel he doesn't have to tone it down to blend with the other singer as much so we get to see him take less of a singing lead while maintaining his leadership of spirit, and that's interesting to watch! What magic the collaborations can bring with their variations! I felt the same when watching him -- that it's clear he LOVES to do this. It's pure passion and it is beautiful to watch and hear. Loved hearing your take on all these covers today! Thank you for doing what you do! It's so fun to watch you enjoy it as well and to learn more about music along the way. Have a nice day!

Your breakdowns are always interesting to me. Obviously, but I wouldn’t know or notice some really cool stuff if it weren’t for your comments. So thanks for adding to my enjoyment x

the Trompeter is Ferdinand Schwarz - he is since 2014 with the band on tour.

Hi Bob, thank you so much for discovering and sharing this! Never heard of this group / guy, and by the title of your reaction I couldn't even tell they were German. I'm very excited right now, I'm German myself and have been watching ton of reaction videos during the past two years, and discovered a lot of really great artists / singers from all around the world, but until today I've been missing a German act that would completely satisfy my musical senses - seems like I might have found them finally... Will instantly watch your other reactions to Henning May and then go on doing my own research... this was brilliant! Have a great day and enjoy it, peace and love from Bavaria!

When I started listening to them, I love the guy that has the deep voice. I just love him. This video was different but I love it she awesome too. I'm 68 years old and always been listening to the music that I grow up with and I heard him sing a few old songs. And I just love it. I'll be listening to them from now on. ❤thank u for letting us see them play. 😊🌹
