I completely agree its not just the raspy voice, its both their beautiful voices in contrast. The first verses, chills everytime. Idk if ill ever find another song that captures me like this one.

The tension in Henning's neck scares me, but his voice sounds so good!

I think, why this is such an enjoyable video to watch, is the fact, that you can see the genuine respect and fun shared between those two bands.
It doesn’t seem to be a set-up collab, but musicians coming together just to make music together

I love that you add little info snippets on the screen. It's interesting to see the bits of info while getting to enjoy the reaction!

All the background information of the band is sooo sweet!!! I never saw a reaction channel who did that.

I'm from Germany and i love to see reactions from amaricans to german music. But most of them don't know anything about the musicians they react to. It's so cool and refreshing that you researched the names and some informations of them. Good video👌

Hey Liza, new viewer. I really enjoy how you added information in the edit! I love how you take pride in the video and there edited really well. There’s those crappy reactioners who just watch the video and don’t even comment. Your on the complete opposite spectrum! You’ve got a new sub and I can’t wait to see your new videos :)

This Band is from Cologne Germany. I´m so proud of them. 👌👍 I'm also from Cologne. AnnenMayKantereit is a German pop rock band from Cologne, Germany, founded in 2011. The group sings mainly in German. A special feature is the distinctive, rough voice of singer Henning May.
The three founding members, whose surnames make up the band name, had met during their school days at the Schiller Gymnasium in Cologne-Sülz. In the beginning, the three of them were still on the road as street musicians in Cologne. At a jam session on the Uniwiese in Cologne, bassist Lars Lötgering joined them.

Love the vibe!! I’ve seen so many reviews lately on YouTube about these guys. They are actually a German band.

Both their voices are very attractive.
And to he so young with that kind of talent. Wow.

I wanna marry Henning May's voice. Glad he's getting so much attention. He deserves it ❤️❤️

I think this song is a recount of the day she learnt how to move on:

First she’s pretending she didn’t see the man and the woman that walked in kiss as that must be bringing back memories of the man she was in love with. Additionally the part where she mentions the actor that died is a way she is storing and perceiving the date, some day, some time back in the 80s there was a newspaper in New York that wrote about an actor that passed away from drinking. That’s the day, her bookmark for when she learnt how to move on, grabbing her coffee and catching the train….
