I have two:
1. Whenever someone is listening to music without headphones my mom's​ pitbull tries to sing along
2. my cat purposefully goes outside and rolls in mud to get me to give him a bath

We had a Jack Russell terrier who would watch TV during certain shows every day (especially The Golden Girls) and would get upset if you didn't change the channel when it was time for them to start. He'd get up to drink from his bowl during commercials, then come running back as soon as the commercials were over. He never bothered on other shows he didn't like, and he learned to figure out when weekends were, because he didn't even bother coming upstairs on Saturdays and Sundays -- when his favorite shows weren't on. Though he never did figure out holidays, when they usually showed football or Christmas specials.

I had a cat that chose to be with me. She was a stray that I'd leave food out for. One day I opened the door to pit the food down and she walked inside and only left horizontally 9 years later.
She used to take a blanket off the sofa and put it on the bed as a nest. She'd also take her toys and food bowl over there too lol. She was a good cat.

Whenever I come home from school, I always catch my cat digging around in my dresser, usually my sock drawer.

One is that my kitten soon learned that if she opens/presses my music boxes buttons they start playing music. Now when ever I’m sleeping and she wants to play, or I’m sleeping in, she goes to the little mermaid box I have (it plays a very annoying version Ariel singing the “look and this stuff, isn’t it neat” song). It then wakes me up and she quickly jumps of my dresser, and looks at me innocently. Then we go upstairs together, eat breakfast together and go on with our day.

The dog we had for 8 years was named Maddy and she was so smart and funny. We taught her to knock on doors, she would steal my throw blankets, and when I was sick she'd lay on me til I felt better.

I have to walk my cat to the food dish and stand over him while he eats.
His sister doesn't need this, but apparently he does. If not, he'll meow and cry and get himself so worked up he spits up.
I don't know WTF his deal is. He also has a very expressive face while his sister is a cool customer.

My ex has the smartest black lab/boxer mix, Shyann. She and I would play hide and seek, even at my work. I had a job at a group home that allowed us to bring our pets in while working as long as they were well behaved. I went into our back office and sat around a corner on a chest freezer, and did our signature whistle, she couldn't find me and became very worried so I had to jump out and tell her its was ok.
I had two other dogs, so I would rotate or ask the clients which one they wanted me to bring. I miss Shyann, and I eventually moved away but every so often I will try to visit that group home.

I have a snake that lunges for your nose and then proceeds to gently boop it before going back to looking around right after you took him out of the cage. When I was doing headshyness work, I'd touch his head every time I took him out, with random objects, usually my nose if I didn't have anything else on hand. Apparently, that is how he believes you greet people now. I find it adorable... others, not so much!

My dog Allegro is evil and can manipulate tools, track objects (we can’t fake throw), and has a pita bread fetish.

Swiffer knows whenever someone is sad and when I was in middle school dealing with peak depression he would refuse to leave me alone and we call him Swoo Sweetie

Swiffer also has VERY strong opinions on French Pop, but no other music genre. You can get him to smile and nod, run away, or come barreling towards you just by playing different songs.

Have two Australian Shepherd/Husky dogs from the same parents but roughly 6-9 months apart. Rocky is being older had gotten more laid back, but had an affinity for starting fights before ‘going boneless’ as he laid on his back in the middle. Apollo being a tough guy loved taking toys from Rocky. So whenever it was time for tug of war, Rocky would go boneless with the rope and just have Apollo drag him across the floor. If Apollo managed to pull the rope out of his mouth, they would both pause for a second before Apollo put it back in Rocky’s mouth and start dragging him again. They are both over ten years old now and don’t play anymore, but still love to go for walks together.

My dog, Jessie, would go crazy if you asked her if she wanted to go for a ride! Meaning she got a ride to the groomers, and once or twice to the vet (she was a pretty healthy dog; I can't remember a time she got sick) in my mom's car. Jessie's last car ride was to the vet as she was 14 years old, having trouble standing on her own, and seizures. So on September 10, 2014, we knew it was her time to go and put her to sleep. She crossed the rainbow bridge via a car ride!😥😥😥 I miss her much!

My Nan’s golden retriever dog was very placid but areal old lady. I’m visually impaired so needed fo sit on her bed to see the tv. This was the only space she was territorial about, but in the most endearing way. Shed sit/lie behind me and try to budge me off. That doesn’t work so she’d stand in front of the TV so I can’t see it!!!!
