Thank you so much for posting this. I was there with my husband Steve, this was the day we were married, 16th November 1974. He died 22nd February and to hear this recording knowing that somewhere in the audience we are there together is comforting. Echoes was always his favourite track and it was the encore that wonderful night.

I love how the one *ping* got everyone hyped up. The magic of Richard Wright. The Pink Floyd will always be the best in my books. No other band can create such sounds The Floyd created.

This is an EPIC live version! Gilmour said in a documentary that this tune was the 'turning point' for the Floyd where they actually found their sound. Their progression as a band really started with "Echoes"! "Dark Side of the Moon" was next, and we all know what happened at that point! Yes?

I feel for all the poor souls who never were able to see/hear The Floyd live. It's quite impossible to try to explain what quad sounds like outdoors, in a stadium with 80, 000 people at nite. You are literally inside the music.A profound experience that never leaves you.

I was there as a 15 year-old and I was blown away by the concert....until I was double-blown away by this encore, absolutely stunning and enhanced by the 3-dimensional mixing by the sound crew. An abiding memory.

I was born in 1963 so by 1973 I was 10 yrs old and I always hung around the older guys and most of the time they allowed me to, that said I knew some really cool guys I looked up to and some of them got to see Pink Floyd back then and even years later I remember them talking about the experience and how fun & a good time the concert was, so when I hear or think of the song Echoes it takes me back to that time and the memories I had growing up back
