Graphgear 1000 is a beauty. I must admit, I have a few different mechanical pencils, but the Graphgear 1000 seems to suit most of my needs for an underdrawing for a painting.

If you twist the pencil you can get different types of lead as well

I love using mechanical pencils to draw, it just feels better than regular pencils

The 1000 also comes in a 0.4mm lead size. I normally don't see it in these sets, but you can get them individually

Great pencil set. I have two. But my favorite is the Ohto MS01 or the Rotring 800

I have these, were given to me as a gift. I was using other high quality, but after I got these, I kept coming back to them. Now it is my go-to!!!

I use the BIC mechanical pencils from Walmart. A 0.7 and a 0.5 mm. They’re as cheap and reliable as it gets and I can’t recommend them enough from a budget standpoint. That being said, you’ve definitely piqued my interest with this set and I think I wanna invest in one for myself this Christmas. :)

I think it’s also important to emphasize that a better pencil doesn’t mean a better drawing. It just means drawing will feel better. And you’ve emphasized that well. Beautiful work as always.

I love nicpro pencils. The 2mm is my fav. I’ve never tried the pentel

I've been using the same old Pentel Techniclick 0.5 for the past fifteen years now. That sideclick's just way too convenient. Sometimes I think about replacing it but it's still good so I decide not to in the end.

I highly recommend you try the kurutoga advanced woth metal casing. Amazing pencil and my daily driver for drawing. I draw my tattoos with it

That sounds very good but Ihane a box of different pencicils already. It have to use them to their end . But I like your pencil set.😊
