flare spam doesn't work even if you are pulling away, you have to flare first then turn away otherwise the missile will go flare to flare til it meets you. In my 30 matches with F-5C (first plane I get with flares) I've only been killed with a missile once that I couldn't control it after a pull to dodge a teammate.

This is an older version of the game xD
Also, the plane left a trail of flares that the missile just followed to the aircraft. The last thing Gaijn needs to do is give heatseekers yet another unneeded nerf.

flare dumping doesnt work, you need to send off flares periodically for it to be effective, flares too close to one another leads the missile on a trail straight to what fired them, aka the aircraft

How to evade R-60m when ingnore Flare

Me : Good question, either you lived or you died like usual

This happened to me but it was an AIM-9P that was shot at me (I cut throttle and dumped flares)
