What is Flying in Greenland Like? Air Greenland Dash 8 | Reykjavik (KEF) to Nuuk (GOH) | Trip Report

Today I'm reviewing one of the most incredible flights of my life. Flying over Greenland and through the fjords to land at Nuuk was breathtaking. The crew were also great, and the pilots even let me in the cockpit during the flight. It also happens to be one of the longest Dash 8 200 flights in the world at almost 4 hours...

Those views landing into Nuuk are absolutely breathtaking! Those Dash 8-200 aircraft have served Air Greenland well and are perfect for the shorter runways where they operate into. Would you say the Dash 8-200 is worse to fly on than the Luxair Dash 8-400? What an amazing experience for you and your relatives, hope you enjoyed your visit to Greenland.

The Captain on the flight is Jens Plough, a really nice guy and real aviation legend in Greenland and Denmark
His wife is also a Pilot in Air Greenland and both his daughters are Pilots and fly tourist sightseeing flights with their own little company(Air Safari)
He also owns a Former Soviet Era Jet fighter, a Helicopter and an Antonov An-2, and flies them all just for fun

Great video! Flights to Greenland are in the Schengen area in the nordics, bc Nordic people can travel and work freely in Greenland :)
