I am from Iraq, live in Baghdad, but had flown many times above Greenland 🇬🇱 on my way back and forth to Canada 🇨🇦, about 12-14 times, not sure about the exact number. Now, I am very excited to see a direct jet plane landing in Nuuk as I had always wanted to visit this big island (Greenland). I will try my best to reach there one day. Thank you Josh for this amazing video and for the other one when this beautiful A330, 800 was delivered from Toulouse to Kankaloosa ❤

This must have been the most emotional flight!! Actually seeing the CEO in tears was emotional to watch. Josh this is amazing! It brings tears to my eyes to see how much the community in Greenland cares for aviation! I can remember the first time air Greenland got a wide body and now that Air Greenland flies to Nuuk it's just a dream for everybody! WOW JUST AMAZING!

First time watching you, and now I can't stop seeing your videos. As a Dane I love seeing Greenland being closer to independence. When i showed my dad this video, he was amazed. He is currently flying for Ryanair, and loves to see this also.

I thought I was the only one who got so emotional and shed tears until I saw the lovely CEO and also from the comments. I've never been to Greenland but how everyone showed up for such a big day and their excitement clearly tells the importance of this flight flying from Nuuk.

Big fan from Tamilnadu, India. Watching this, I could recall a recent Incident happened in our region. When a place called 'Bodinayakkanur' in the Southernmost part of India was connected with the nearby City named Madurai (via Train), people were seen emotional, clapping their hands and welcoming the Train.


The Place Bodinayakkanur and Theni District was left unconnected when Railways Department decided to stop the Metre gauge trains back in 2010. Since then, people had to rely on roads (which consumed lot of time and money) to reach nearby cities. 


I had seen people crying and embracing the Train, when Railways Department decided to introduce Train (Broad-Gauge) on this route.


Yes, this is irrelevant to aviation. But let it be Train or an Aeroplane, these things connect people/region with endless possibilities.
