Scott argues as if all the other 4 points of Calvinism is true. You can't argue one of the 5 points and then use the other four points to back that up. That's a form of circular reasoning.

God can't be robbed.

If we are in God's hand ( we abide in him, walk in the spirit ) we are safe and protected.

It is no one's fault but ours if we do not come to the supper and receive salvation ( attend the supper )

It's not God's fault cause he is fair and just

A gift is offered but we have to go there and show up to get it

Yes he does send people to Hell, and it doesn't make sense, he chose some died for all, man makes the atonement effectual by their faith, it messes everything up.

Great debate..nice job Scott.. I must say this doesn’t even seem like a unclear issue..the most biblical view is a God completely sovereign in salvation I think people try their best to find a way to get a piece of the glory but the scriptures don’t truly allow it

GREAT DEBATE! Great job Dan in defending the truth of unlimited atonement. Scott was a good interlocutor. They both misunderstood my question! I wasn’t questioning if Jesus was rebuking The Father in scripture. I was questioning Scott if he was consistent enough to say that Jesus thought it would be better for Judas if Judas wasn’t able to do the will of The Father which is what Scott explicitly argued what God created Judas for. Judas didn’t ask to be born nor did he ask to be determined to betray Jesus. If Scott is correct about God determining his actions then Jesus is telling Judas it would be better if him if God never created Him and if He never did exactly what God willed him to do. So Scott is wrong. God didn’t create Judas to betray Jesus. HE used Judas’s sinful actions to fulfill His plan of salvation. It would be better for Judas to not have sinned. If Judas didn’t then God would have used something else. It’s Gods will that none should perish. GOD does not determine man’s sinful actions.HE laid down His life to rescue us from them!

It is exceedingly sad to me that Satan has done such a magnificent job hiding the Kingdom of God from men. It’s the leaven and the whole lump is nearly leavened. My brothers, please study the Kingdom of God. The governmental system of God. The Kingdom to come and your purpose on this earth originally laid out in Genesis 1:26&28. Satan has accomplished much in getting us to disagree and forget the Kingdom and our purpose. Once you understand the kingdom of God your understanding of the bible opens up and there are no contradictory passages left. Please. Just pray and study the Kingdom. please?
