How to Show Formulas in Excel

This short video shows how to display formulas in the all the cells of a worksheet. By default when you put a function or formula in a cell and it calculate (hopefully without error), you will see the eventual output. However in some cases you may want to view all the formulas or functions in your worksheet. This video shows two ways it can be done.

Can the formula find a missing value  for example 20/9.5=2.105 and 25/11.9=2.100 and 30/14.2=2.112        2.1 or 2100 is the rounded value and 9.5, 11.9, 14.2 is what I want excel to find?

Hi Doug, I'm trying to hide the calculated results before data is entered. In other words, I have five rows and the last two rows are deadline and days left with cells with formulas, however because there is no data, the calculated results show up as 1/30/00 as date and a negative numerical value for the other row. So, how could I hide those two rows??
