I like the extras like the fire-starter and hammer, as well as the fact that the blades lock in place. Too many cheap multi-tools have non-locking parts (screwdrivers, knife blades) that fold back towards you when you try to use them. I also like the push release. I had an older one Leatherman where you had to pull out another blade to release the lock. Cut myself more than once, and put it away for good. This is a nice tool, with nice features.
