The look of pain on Krist's face when he said "it should have never happened" just broke my soul.

Every single time he describes what happened to Kurt, everywhere you see him talking about this, you can see it in his face, in his voice, and he always says, "It should have never happened", or something to that effect. Look at his face and demeanor, you can sense the hurt, still. So, so sad for him. You can tell he truly loved him.

It is too bad. Cobain was not a person with a lot of friends. Same for Kris. It’s odd, to all the world loss of Kurt had to do with a body of work and what might have been. To KN the loss was a personal tragedy mourning an irreplaceable friend. Bet he’d trade it all to have him back—and I bet he’s the only human being who truly feels that way.
