Never ceases to amaze me, how people will just stand there and watch death coming straight at them...

I've seen the video that starts at 4:32 in many compilation videos and it is always cut too short. In the original by Clem Shultz, I believe his name is, after the sound come back you hear all the debris then for about a minute, you can still hear the tornado roaring away in the distance while hearing debris like glass and who knows what tinkling in the now quiet destruction zone. Gives that video much more of a dramatic flair in my opinion. My heart goes out to 'Clem' who lost his wife this day. RIP

Starting at 4:31 is one of the most intense things i have ever seen or heard. It goes from “im filming this and i appear to be at a safe distance” to “i might lose my life” in about 1 second. I mean look at how it ramps up specifically starting at 5:15 and then it absolutely explodes at 5:40. I mean the sound alone after it goes black will haunt me for awhile

#4 is one of the most frightening examples of nature's wrath I've ever seen. Its so errie the way the guy stands there calmly filming as this gigantic killer monster slowly approaches him!

In the 4th one, after it goes to black, and it tears the house up as loud as it can, horrifying. Rip to Clems wife.

I wonder how many people have died standing around recording dangerous situations like this instead of doing the intelligent thing to either run or take shelter…

That one about 5 minutes in is HORRIFYING. The noises it makes when everything goes black…

I refuse to believe some of these people filming didn't die. I was legit scared for the dude around 5:25

The magic trick at about 3:40- see the white car just sitting there……. (Little wave of wind)…. And it’s gone!! Having lived in Tennessee and now in Iowa for fourteen years, the destruction these storms create in such a short period of time always leaves me in awe over their power and sorrow for those that lose property and life…. 🥺

The camera at 3:05 shows just how powerful the winds can be, you can see objects hitting the ground and even the car so fast and hard that sparks erupt from them. We can also see that one second the car is there and gone the next.

Dude, seeing the school one made me a lot more terrified of these things. Im from southern California and ive been told the closest thing well have are dust devils which do not compare at all. Since El Ñino in 2015-2016, it feels like in almost every storm, theres a tornado warning, and every other one theres a funnel cloud. All the schools there are open with all classrooms leading to the outside. Nothing is meant to protect anyone from a tornado here.

I really thought the instinct for self-preservation was stronger than it is!

This is why you shouldn’t record tornadoes instead of hiding 6:16
Edit: especially near a window 7:12
