I'm a mom of 3 and have fluctuated in size a lot, so my wardrobe has collected a lot. How do you manage your clothes, especially with a changing body?

Dear Milena, thank you for sharing your systems with us. You mentioned long term- how do you do that, do you sort that clothes by years, or you have one big storage?
What is really overwhealming for me is when we are gifted someone's hand me downs, it's usually lot of big boxes, mixed with all kinds of sizes. So, I don't go through them immediately. Well, that is another issue because it's taken up our space.
How do you store shoes?
We have 6 boys and shoes and clothes are exhausting!!!

I honestly love this idea but just have no idea how it would work in our family. My we boy is 5 but still has accidents quite often (he is autistic and this is an area he struggles with) so we go through pants and trousers a lot in a week and my little girl always gets so messy and nursery that she goes through clothes so quickly. I would run out of clothes before I'm able to get them dried in our house ( no tumbledryer)

I feel the 555 rule is not realistic in Germany. What I know from my relatives in the US is that they put almost everything in the dryer. But even if you’ll have a dryer in Germany you won’t put everything in just sheets and towels. Otherwise the clothes will shrink so much I would have to spent more money every month. Any Europeans can relate to this?
So because we need to hang everything in the German cold damp weather it’ll dry in 2-3 days😢

Do you literally do 5/5/5 for example in the 0-12 months all cloths or do you keep 5/5/5 for around 3months, 6months size and same 9months (for example!)
I don't know if my question makes sense... In the 0-12months you literally only have 5 tops, 5 pants etc or you have that BUT for different sizes inside... ? Makes sense? I'm struggling with my organisation here, I have a 3y girl and an almost 1y girl...
