At our current pace with recent computing tech combined with ai I think we’ll see many breakthroughs in the near future.
I worry most about who owns or regulates certain tech. Will we all have access or will past mistakes or monetary status lead to an “elite only” club? Tons of movies explore this route as if to manifest such a future.

Hopefully we can upload soon. Because life is way too short. Honestly I wish I was born a thousand years from now. Or a thousand years ago. Because we live in a crappy time. We have technology but we are still a society that believes in God's and greed. But not enough technology to be an amazing society. We are forced to work 40+ hours a week to barely get by and we have horrible people running our government. We trash this planet and destroy everything. So being alive way back in the day at least things would be easy and simple. We have made things way too complex in our society. But hopefully we can upload so we can escape our meat sacks and live long enough to be able to travel space and time.

I disagree with his reference/analogy comparing how our ancestors would be amazed at our current tech, calling us wizards.

IMO, when there are tech and thought breakthroughs, a geometric progression ensues.
One concept can unlock exploration in all perceivable senses to date - a 5D fibonacci /golden ratio if you will.
With novelty becoming less of a factor across the board, it should bring us collectively to the realisation that we have, over time, properly arranged the pre-existing elements in our universe to their best utility.
This still depends on the existence of a matrix, however.😅
