What happens when you diamond test lab grown diamonds?

Many people wonder if lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. In fact, many people mistake lab-grown diamonds as "fake" stones such as a CZ. Lab Grown Diamonds are 100% REAL Diamonds and will Always pass a tester!

Yes, lab grown diamonds are real diamonds. They clarity is even better than natural diamonds.

idk why people think Lab grown diamonds are not real diamonds like bruh they have the same composition as natural diamonds the only difference being they were grown artificially to match the environment where they naturally form.

I heard from another jeweler that sometimes HPHT lab diamonds will not pass a tester. But CVD lab diamonds will.

I thought this was obvious. The only difference from lab n natural is the process to make them. The end is still a genuine diamond.

My personal opinion of you as a person depends on if you actually think natural is better. I'm an engineer. I've studied material science and chemistry. Lab diamonds are the same material and have the same properties as a natural diamond. Diamonds are special because of their hardness and index of refraction. That's it. Wasting thousands for something with no visible difference is stupid.

The fundamental difference between the lab diamond and natural diamond would be the impurities in natural ones. Any diamond tester should also be looking for them but I don't know how.

Natural diamonds are abundant, the only reason why they’re so expensive is because they only put so much out in the market so they can maintain their value. Jewelers have even said it, if they buy in bulk diamonds are cheap, they wouldn’t push lab grown diamonds because why would they then they won’t get rich haha.

It’s the same until someone ask if it’s grown in a lab for 40 mins

What an observation! A diamond will test as a Diamond on a Diamond tester! How amazing!

There is no difference between the two because both are diamonds 😂😂😂😂

I used to think diamonds were rare that was before every rapper had a collection of chains with over 10, 000 stones each and jewelers started icing out everything to follow so now you can walk into pretty much any jewelry store and see a case or two with flooded out pieces honestly they sort of seem as rare as plastic cups now

I just bought a lab diamond ring and when the jeweler tested it it tested it as moissanite not as diamond so it failed the test all the lab grown diamonds in their store were testing as moissanite but when they used the same tester for natural diamonds it tested it as diamond the light turned green but the light turned yellow when they tested the lab growns

If you can now make "real" ice, then it is technically not rare anymore, hence the price should drop for all ice

Will lab diamonds be sold at humongous price of real diamonds? How will we know which one is lab and which one is real??

What was the name of the tester that worked?

there 2 different kinds of Lab diamonds ones grown as CVD and HPHT. The cvd test as diamond but not the HPHt due to chemical composition if you have a cheaper test it will not test as diamond. That why it’s important to have it certified
