studying:
how do you stay motivated to study?- I don't try to rely on my motivation (it's volatile) to study. at this point it's become a habit for me, but I usually rely on my drive to succeed to push me through the tough parts
how do I study for 12 hours? deliberate practice. you have to approach it like learning a new skill. push yourself slightly above your upper limit consistently and you will get better. if you push yourself too hard you will burnout. there is a balance of pushing yourself too hard and just hard enough to get peak improvement. I have had a lot a lot of practice
why do you start so early? that time is when I'm the most productive
what are your favorite self help books? atomic habits by james clear, deep work by cal newport, can't hurt me by david goggins (read them in that order)
what do you listen to while studying? music (usually lofi) or nothing
do you study on the weekends? yes, for the patreon-only stream

Tell us about a project/activity you feel passionate about.
I don’t believe in motivation. It’s volatile. It is my firm belief that if you want to change the world, you have to be truly driven to do it. You have to want it so bad, that even when you don’t feel like working at it, you’ll do it anyway. I believe in building habits—-positive habits that, when persistently worked at, build towards your goals until you eventually reach them. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I had been in the darkest place I’d ever been. My mother had just left for Vietnam a month prior and was going to stay there for two more. I was alone. I began to struggle in school. I started losing sleep and wondering what I’d do with myself. While in that dark place, I found my flame. It was exacerbated by the desire to help those who were also lost and broken. Thinking about how I could help those who were stuck at home as well, I realized that I could share my drive online. I would lead by example by showing others just how much one person can accomplish when they are truly driven to do it. I tested my resolve and started producing online content where I’d study every day for 12 hours. It was a big risk. I’d have to invest a lot of money and time into something unprecedented. I was ready, however, and started on March 20, 2020. It’s now March 20, 2021. After over 300 live streams, I studied 2,880 hours and my flame is stronger than the day I started. I built a following of hard workers whose flame was ignited by mine.

User Interface:
• Almost all operating systems have a user interface (UI). Two fundamentals approaches for user to interface with operating system are command-line and graphical user interface or GUI.

Program Execution:
• The operating system provides an enviroment to run the user programs efficiently. The resources needed to the programs to complete execution are provided by operating system ensuring optimum utilization of computer system.

I/O Operations:
• Each program requires cannot produce output without taking any input. This involves the use of I/O. During execution, program requires to perform I/O operations for input or output.
